Redesign- Mobile:

Design:

I’ve created a set of commonly used phone apps with a complementary color scheme featuring a lot of blue (my favorite color)!

UI #8

Icon Set

Challenge:

What is your personal design style? Think about it and draw a set of icons for a website or device, in whatever style suits your fancy. Just keep the look and feel consistent to demonstrate that it is a “set.”

UI #7

Pricing

Challenge:

Design something related to pricing.

Original:

Redesign:

Redesigned to:

1) reduce clutter

2) keep formatting consistent

3) use the signature  Discover orange color for transaction titles

4) implement relevant icons to each transaction

This allows the user to easily categorize their purchases and understand information easier as they scroll through.

UI #6

Boarding Pass

Challenge:

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a well designed boarding pass?

I would like you to redesign a new boarding pass.

Original:

Redesign:

As someone who has flown recently, I recall the familiar feeling of panic as you navigate your way through a crowded airport and your eyes are frantically trying to decipher your boarding pass.

With simplicity in mind,  I’ve redesigned it so that flight information is in two different focus groups. The use of AA themed colors, consistency, and relevant information helps the user decipher their boarding pass at a moment’s notice.

Design:

Created a "vacation in the ocean" theme to match with Carnival Cruise Lines, along with the usage of the numbers as sails.

UI #5

"404 not found" Web Page

Challenge:

We’ve all seen them – the dreaded 404 error, indicating that you’ve connected to a site’s server, but the server could not find what you requested. I would like you to choose an organization and design a 404 page for their website.

UI #4

App Icon

Challenge:

Design an app icon for your phone screen.

You determine what the app might or might not do.

Design:

Often times we find ourselves forgetting about restocking toilet paper until the last few rolls. With this counter app, you can conveniently track, sync with family member’s counters, and set notifications to go grocery shopping before getting yourself into a sticky situation..

UI #3

On/Off

Challenge:

Design a switch that turns something on and off.

Off:

On:

I’ve designed a switch that turns any real life object to a cartoon version with a flick of a button!
